Capacity Crowds for 2010 Spring Concerts
The Spring Concerts showcased tunes from recent Broadway musicals including "Grease," "Les Misérables," "Wicked," "Beauty and the Beast," "Hairspray," "The Lion King," and many others. Photos from the Spring Concerts can be found HERE. |
The Spring Concert held Thursday, May 13, at the Bowie Senior Center was a standing room only crowd. All tickets were sold for the Wednesday, May 19 concert at the Bowie Center for Performing Arts. This is the first time there were capacity crowds at both concerts. Patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance for future Bowie Center for Performing Arts concerts to ensure they will have a seat.

Join the Chorale
Registration for the fall semester begins July 22. Prospective members are welcome to register. Rehearsals are held every Thursday afternoon from 2:30pm to 4:30pm at the Bowie Senior Center. The last day returning members can register and be guaranteed membership is August 6. After August 6, new members will begin being accepted to fill the remaining membership quota of 110 members. The last day for registration is August 20.
You must be a member of the Bowie Senior Center to join the Chorale. Membership in the Senior Center is free but you must be 55 years of age or older. The cost to sing in the Chorale is $25.00/ semester for Bowie residents.
