Bowie Senior Center 2011 Holiday Concert

What were your favorite Christmas memories? Maybe you found them in the lyrics of one of the songs in the Bowie Senior Chorale's Holiday Concert. Songs include selections from the movie "The Polar Express", the German carol "King Glockchen", and "Grown-Up Christmas List." The Chorale will also brought back "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch" and "The Man with the Bag," old favorites from previous concerts.

The Bowie Senior Chorales evening holiday concert, "Christmas Memories," on Friday, December 16, 7:30pm at the Bowie Center for Performing Arts was a sell-out. We thank all those who came to enjoy our music.

The Chorale practices Thursday afternoons from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the Bowie Senior Center Multi-Purpose Room.

The Chorale is open to all residents of the area who are 55 years of age or older. Those wishing to join the Chorale should inquire at the reception desk at the Bowie Senior Center or call the Center at 301-809-2300.
