From time to time, the Chorale gets specific requests to perform. Often, the venue is of such size that it cannot accommodate the full Chorale. The The Bowie Senior Choraleers are a subset of the Chorale which can perform in smaller surroundings.

Members of the Chorale audition to be a member of the Choraleers. The group consists of permanent members and alternates. The alternates sing when a permanent member is absent, to insure proper coverage on all of the voice parts.

The Choraleers also had a busy 2011 holiday season. In the evening of December 6, they sang at the Belair Mansion. On December 10 they sang at Patuxent Nursery and in the morning of December 12 they performed at the Pasadena Senior Center.

The Choraleers sang a selection of songs from the Spring Concert at Bowiefest on June 4, 2011.
